Traditional Ciders from True Cider Apples
Farnum Hill Ciders are dry and complex, wine-like but, at 6.5-8.5%, less
alcoholic than grape wines. (Most dry wines contain between 11% and
15% alcohol.) On Farnum Hill we grow true cider apples of English, French,
and American origin. Peculiar-tasting when fresh, cider apples produce
gorgeous aromas, flavors and sensations after pressing, fermenting, and
blending by the respectful cidermaker. The English and European varieties
that flourish here attain highly concentrated flavors in this extreme
New Hampshire climate.
